Cerritos College Cross Country (2012): Helped the team finish second at the Southern California Championships by placing 69th in a time of 21:48.66 after coming in 13th place in the South Coast Conference Championships in a time of 20:37.50 as the team won the title… Came in fifth place overall at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational with a time of 21:07, while his time of 25:48.2 at the Grand Canyon Invitational earned him a 20th place finish… Posted a sixth place finish at the Lou Vasquez Invitational with a time of 20:28.80 and was 21st at the Coast Classic Invitational with a clocking of 21:30.08… Placed 48th at the Mark Covert Classic with a time of 27:10.7…..

Norwalk HS:
Voted the team’s Most Inspirational Player as a senior and posted a personal best time of 15:21, while he earned the team’s Most Valuable Player and Most Inspirational Player award as a junior… Received the Coaches Award as a freshman… Spent four years on the cross country and track and field teams… Garnered the team’s MVP and Most Inspirational Player award both seasons… Specialized in the 1600 meters (4:33) and 3200 meters (10:01)…..

Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he won the distance medley race at the LA County Relays and came in first place in the 4x1600 meters at the Bell Gardens Invitational while on the track and field team… Is also working on a major in engineering, as well as minors in Japanese and Spanish… Aspires to be either an architectural engineer or a mechanical engineer… Likes to eat in his spare time… Nicknamed “Squirrel”… Has two sisters – Cindy (17) and Jessica (8)… Is the son of Celso Salinas and Angelic Enriques… Born in Torrance, CA on November 14, 1993…..
